About Paul Stratton Furniture

Inspired as a young boy by my father and grandfather to explore a natural ability to make things from wood, I soon developed a passion to make fine furniture, either self designed, or as a maker for established and internationally recognised designers. Four years at Rycotewood College in Thame, Oxfordshire preceded my formative years as a cabinetmaker in established workshops of Wales & Wales, Senior - Carmichael and David Linley Furniture allowed me to gain experience in solid timber, veneering, finishing and using alternative materials such as metals, glass, acrylic, etc further expanded my palette of textures from which to apply to any specific project.

CAD modelling became an invaluable tool in designing and conveying ideas to clients, along with indicative finishes and colour and has been an essential part of  everything I do.

We currently have customers for furniture and related products in many countries worldwide including UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Japan, New Zealand, New York/ US.
